YMCA's Unity National Day of Prayer Breakfast with Jill Crainshaw

Please join us for our annual YMCA Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 2nd, at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. This FREE event for all YMCA and community members will include prayer, reflection and fellowship. Mark your calendars to have breakfast with the YMCA and start your day inspired!

This year's speaker is Wake Forest University School of Divinity Interim Dean Jill Crainshaw. She has been on the Divinity faculty since the School first opened its doors in 1999. Dr. Crainshaw received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, her Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and her PhD from what is now Union Presbyterian Seminary. Crainshaw’s teaching focuses on intersections between religious leadership, sustainability, social justice, and “grounded” human experiences. She is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Dr. Crainshaw is an accomplished poet. Her most recent collection, entitled Cedars in Snowy Places, was published in November 2018. She is an avid gardener.
