Walk-In Clinic

THIS IS A PAST EVENT.

Walk-In Clinic

To better meet the needs of our students, the University Counseling Center will be migrating to walk-in clinic hours for initial visits, beginning October 21. As of this date, students will no longer need to schedule an initial appointment to meet with one of our clinicians. This change represents a strategic effort to increase capacity and accessibility for students seeking support for mental health concerns and challenges experienced in a rigorous collegiate environment.

Walk in hours will be from 9:30-12:30 and 1:30-4:30, Monday through Friday (unless otherwise noted). We ask that you arrive before noon for a morning appointment and before 4 p.m. in the afternoon session. If this is your first appointment or you haven’t been seen in the office since before June 2019, you will need to come in no later than 45 minutes before the end time posted above. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Any closures or adjustments to the clinic hours will be posted on our homepage and through our social media accounts (@WFU_Counseling on Twitter and @wfucounselingcenter on Instagram).

Crisis assistance for urgent mental health needs is available anytime, from anywhere, by calling us at 336.758.5273.
