To better meet the needs of our students, the University Counseling Center now operates walk-in clinic hours for initial visits. Students no longer need to schedule an initial appointment to meet with one of our clinicians. This change represents a strategic effort to increase capacity and accessibility for students seeking support for mental health concerns and challenges experienced in a rigorous collegiate environment.
Walk-in hours will be from 9:30-12:30 and 1:30-4:30, Monday through Friday (unless otherwise noted). We ask that you arrive before noon for a morning appointment and before 4 p.m. in the afternoon session. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Any closures or adjustments to the clinic hours will be posted on our homepage and through our social media accounts (@WFU_Counseling on Twitter and @wfucounselingcenter on Instagram).
