Wake Forest University Orchestra Presents a Virtual Concert available on the Wake the Arts YouTube Channel Starting on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Please join us as The Wake Forest University Orchestra presents a virtual concert prepared during the pandemic.  In order to achieve such a feat, our strings and percussion performers were recorded together while the woodwinds and brass players were recorded individually under carefully followed safety precautions.

Under the direction of David Hagy, the program includes Einstein's Dream by Cindy McTee based on quotes of Albert Einstein; the Concerto in B Minor for Four Violins by Vivaldi;  and three Christmas selections including movements from The Nutcracker Suite, Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, and the particularly apt for Covid times song, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."  We do hope that you will enjoy our final performance of the Fall 2020 semester!
