Virtual -The Jekyll and Hyde Leader: Is It Worse to Be Consistently Toxic or Unpredictably Fair?
Tuesday, March 4, 2025 12pm to 1pm
About this Event
This session will explore recent research on the impact of managerial behavior on employees, specifically when managers fluctuate between positive (ethical, fair) and negative (abusive, belittling) actions. We will examine the findings - is it more damaging for managers to be consistently toxic or to alternate between harmful and ethical behaviors in an attempt to compensate for past misconduct?
Led by Dr. Sean Hannah, J. Tylee Wilson Chair in Business Ethics; Professor of Management; Senior Research Associate, CLC, School of Business. Open to WFU School of Business alumni.
