About this Event
All WFU educators are invited to join the Office of the Provost, Center for the Advancement of Teaching, and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for our inaugural Teacher-Scholar Forum. This annual event, modeled on the successful Inclusive Teaching Conference of 2022, creates a space for teacher-scholars from across the university to come together to learn about pressing issues affecting their teaching, scholarship, or both. This year's Forum will feature James Lang, author of numbers books and over 250 columns on teaching and learning in higher education. He will deliver keynotes on digital distraction and academic integrity, facilitate a workshop on applying our teaching skills to our writing, and field questions about the future of higher education during an "Ask Me Anything" session with Assistant Provost and Executive Director of the CAT, Betsy Barre.
