Two Years In Between highlights a selected artist whose work was acquired by Wake Forest University during one of the “art buying trips” which occur every four years. Andrew Moore is a photographer perhaps best known for his series of Detroit at its crumbling nadir, in 2008.

This project was framed from the outset as a chance for students to be involved with the selection, interpretation and installation of a contemporary artist’s work. Professor John Curley (Art History) and Hanes Gallery director Paul Bright chose four students in a competitive process to realize this project.

Additional funding provided by the Wake Forest Humanities Institute.
