On October 23, 2023, at 5:30 pm, there will be a special screening of, “The Prayers of Both Could Not Be Answered,” by Danny Drysdale, a new and thought-provoking film that explores Abraham Lincoln's use of religious language and imagery in his second inaugural address regarding slavery, civil war, and American purpose.
Immediately following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring the Film’s Director, various WFU Professors, and Scholars who focus on aspects of the film, including its social relevance, artistic merit, and the issues it raises.
