The Culture of Social Class

This presentation explores social class as a world view, and the factors which impact that world view. We will discuss the ways different people represent their social class, and how we are socialized to prioritize and organize these symbols based on classed experiences. We will examine classism as a mechanism of socialization, and how classed experiences impact the ways people view themselves, others, and institutions.
