Wednesday, April 7, 2021 4:30pm to 6pm
NOTE: THIS IS A PAST EVENT
About this Event
More than 65 years after the Supreme Court's decision in Brown instructed school systems to integrate with "all deliberate speed," Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools are widely recognized as segregated, a cirumstance that foster unequal oppotunities between Black, Latinx, and white students; poor and wealthy students. As district leaders make plans for the future of the school system, the time is right to invite a panel of experts to share what they have learned in their careers as they have studied segregation's harms and worked to integrate school systems around the country.
