This year will be the 29th Annual Speak Out hosted by the student peer education group SOCs, formerly known as PREPARE, where we honor and stand in solidarity with survivors in our Wake Forest community to start off Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April) on March 29th at 5pm in Wait Chapel. We also aim to raise awareness about the interpersonal violence, sexual assault, stalking, sexual harassment, and dating violence present on campus. Anyone interested in performing (singing, dance, etc.) at the event, can contact Katherine Knightly (knigka19@wfu.edu) by March 23rd to discuss further. Performances are intended to honor and stand in solidarity with survivors as a campus.
