Join the Italian Department and the Italian Club on Wednesday, September 21 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Greene 317 for Serata Musicale: Sicilian Music. Michela Musolino and Fabio Turchetti will perform traditional and contemporary Sicilian folk music. Michela Musolino is an internationally recognized Sicilian-American singer. The granddaughter of Sicilians who immigrated to America has re-discovered her cultural roots through the study and reinterpretation of the folk songs of Sicily and Southern Italy.

Fabio Turchetti is a composer and accordionist from Cremona who travels the world with his music. Dividing his time between a repertoire of Italian folk revival and his compositions, besides performing, Turchetti also writes books on the topic of music.
