The WFU Department of Music invites you to a special presentation from WFU Music major Alexandra Eliasek.

For this project, Alexandra will explore the soundtracks in children's films and demonstrate how the film industry uses movies to teach children about various music genres and the cultures associated with them.  She will be analyzing jazz music in The Princess and the Frog, Latin American music in Encanto, and classical music in Sleeping Beauty: "As I am a double major in Elementary Education and Music and a minor in Psychology, I thought this would be a wonderful way to combine my passions and research topics I will utilize in my future career."
