Secrest Series: Ian Bostridge, tenor, and Julius Drake, piano

Tenor Ian Bostridge's international recital career takes him to the foremost concert halls of Europe, Japan and North America, with regular appearances at the Salzburg, Edinburgh, Munich, Vienna, Schwarzenberg, and Aldeburgh festivals. His many recordings have won major international prizes and have been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards, including winning the 2016 Grammy for Best Classical Vocal Solo. For the Secrest Artists Series, he will perform Schubert’s great song cycle Winterreisse with his regular collaborator, pianist Julius Drake— a cycle about which Bostridge has also written an award-winning book, Schubert’s Winter Journey: Anatomy of an Obsession.
