At "Recognizing & Interrupting Harmful Gender Norms at Work," you will build awareness about workplace norms, explore how gendered expectations contribute to workplace norms, and develop tools and strategies for interrupting norms to create gender equity in your workplace.
What can I expect from this workshop?

A mixture of activities, reflection exercises, and discussions to deepen your understanding of gender and workplace norms
The opportunity to share or not share with others at your own comfort level
To identify 1-3 concrete steps you can take to support a more inclusive workplace environment

This workshop is offered in partnership by the Women's Center and Diversity Education. It is part of the Women's Center professional development series "Gender Equity at Work." It is open to Wake Forest University faculty, staff, and graduate students. There are no prerequisites.
