Dr. Todd Sandler is Vibhooti Shukla Professor of Economics and Political Economy at University of Texas-Dallas. His most recent book is "Terrorism: What Everyone Needs to Know" (2018, Oxford University Press). Sandler has several books and numerous articles on collective action and public goods provisions, and has been awarded Duncan Black prize for best article in Public Choice (2005) and Quality of Research Excellence Award by AAEA (1995). He is a pioneer in the application of rational choice to the study of terrorism.
