Project Pumpkin

Project Pumpkin began in 1988 through the efforts of Wake Forest student Libby Bell (’93). Project Pumpkin is a Halloween-themed festival for community members including trick-or-treating, carnival games, entertainment, and educational activities. In addition to being a community event, Project Pumpkin also raises money for Freedom School, an enrichment program that hosts third- through eighth-grade students on the Wake Forest University campus for a summer reading-based curriculum.
