Join the Public Interest Law Organization for our annual fall fundraiser, this year in the form of the PILO Fall 5K! PILO fundraises money for summer grants to law students taking unpaid summer internships that benefit communities. Easily download the Nike Run App to compete in the 5K from wherever you are. We encourage Wake Law students, faculty, family, and alumni to get up, get moving, and help support PILO and our Wake Law students who are interested in pursuing public interest careers. $30 individual event registration will include a PILO Fall 5k baseball hat and all profits from the event go straight into funding PILO summer grants. For Wake Law students and Winston-Salem locals, there is a 5k route on campus that is perfect if you and your friends want to get together and run in person (see the map below). PILO members will have a water table, snacks, and yard games like cornhole set up in the Worrell Courtyard from 10am-2pm on September 30th for anyone who wants to run on campus or just hang out and support their friends! Baseball hats will be available for pick-up at that time as well for any local runners.
