NOTE: THIS IS A PAST EVENT
The WFU School of Law Criminal Justice Program (in partnership with the Office of the Provost and the WFU Prosecutor Accountability Project), is excited to present: Innocence Files Watch Party with Brian Stolarz and Alfred Dewayane Brown. We will host a Netflix watch party of The Innocence Files: The Hidden Alibi  (Episode 8). Those featured in the episode, attorney Brian Stolarz and his client, Alfred Dewayne Brown, will join me for a moderated discussion. Mr. Stolarz is the Washington Post best selling author of Grace and Justice on Death Row: The Race Against Time and Texas to Free an Innocent Man wherein he recounts the story of Alfred Dewayne Brown's fight for exoneration and the part Mr. Stolarz played in that. Mr. Brown was wrongfully convicted of a robbery gone wrong in 2003. Mr. Brown was incarcerated for 12 years until the Harris County District Attorney's office ultimately dismissed the charges against him.

The Watch Party will begin at 6:30 on Oct. 29th and the Q&A with Mr. Stolarz and Mr. Brown will follow via Zoom at 8pm. Register for this event. If you would prefer to only register for the live Q&A, please complete this form instead.
We hope to see you there.
