THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
The panel will focus on the role of entrepreneurship for the millennial generation. It will address the apparently decreasing macro-trends in the propensity to engage in entrepreneurship among millennials but also, in counter-part, the role of entrepreneurial skills that a solid entrepreneurship education can offer in dealing with highly uncertain business environments.
The event will be an evening panel discussion with three panelists and a participating moderator. The moderator will be Wake Forest's Dan Hammond, who is a Hultquist Family Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Economics. The other three panelists – Saras Sarasvathy (University of Virginia), Don Boudreaux (George Mason University), and Michael Strong (FLOW) – will each consider the question of the nexus of Millennials and entrepreneurship through one of the following interpretive lenses, “How Millennials Might Engage”, “The Experience of Engagement”, and “The Impact of Engagement”.
You are welcome to join us for a light reception immediately following the debate.
