About this Event
401 North Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101
http://capitalism.wfu.edu/conference/The BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism is hosting the annual BB&T Centers and Professors conference this year from May 29–31, 2018. It will feature keynotes and panels exploring how we should assess the value of what we are doing—as professors, as programs or centers, and as institutions of higher education. We will hear from Bryan Caplan, Tom Cushman, John Allison, Roger Ream, Donald Drakeman, Phillip Muñoz, and many others. Speakers and panelists will share experiences and insights about what works and what does not, what adds value and what does not, what methods of assessment we should consider and what we should not, and what paths for the future have promise—and what do not.
Events will be held in two of Winston-Salem's quintessential locations - the historic Kimpton Cardinal Hotel and Wake Forest University's dynamic Innovation Quarter.
Conference registration is free, but space is limited. To register, please complete the 2018 Conference Registration Form found on our website. Our website also includes additional information on Hotel and Travel, the Itinerary, and answers to some Frequently Asked Questions.
