THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
Speaker: Linda Hudson, Chairman and CEO of The Cardea Group
Having observed many leaders succeed and fail throughout her 42-year trailblazing career in the defense, aerospace and security industries, Ms. Hudson has singled out the key attributes found in all great leaders. Building on her own experiences that culminated in her appointment to be the first female CEO of a major US national security company and her continuing corporate board service and business consulting, she will share the stories of accomplished individuals in the arts, industry and politics to validate her views. She will lead a discussion of what it takes to succeed today in our rapidly changing world with the added dimensions of evolving cultural views, multi-generational employees and political uncertainty.
Ms. Hudson is the retired President and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc. and serves on the boards of Bank of America, Ingersoll Rand and Southern Company. She serves on the executive board of the Wake Forest Charlotte Center.
Event open to current and prospective students, alumni and guests. Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Parking is available at the Charlotte Center.
