The Office of Student Affairs (Law School) will host a leadership skills workshop on emotional intelligence. Leadership is a relationship of intentional influence towards a shared purpose. How we understand and regulate our emotions–along with the emotions of others–plays an important role in how we navigate our leadership relationships. This workshop will introduce the concept of emotional intelligence and explore why emotional intelligence is vitally important to your ability to lead others. The workshop is open to all students, faculty, and staff. It will be led by Dr. Ben Rigney and Dean Branden Nicholson. Lunch from Viva Chicken will be provided for attendees.
