Keyword Crossings: Form
Tuesday, November 30th
4:00pm
301 Reynolda Hall
Keyword Crossings returns this year at 4:00pm on Tuesday, November 30th in 301 Reynolda Hall! The keyword for this session is FORM, and this event is sponsored by the Wake Forest University Humanities Institute, made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Interdisciplinary Arts Center.
Faculty from across the humanities, visual arts, and performing arts dare to discuss a keyword common among their disciplines. Each faculty member will have five minutes to explain how that keyword circulates in their particular discipline, including current controversies and innovations. The dare: speakers have to be correct within their discipline, but still intelligible to the rest of the group. Join us for a lively discussion and light refreshments.
Participants include: Larry Weng, Assistant Professor, Music; Mary Wayne-Thomas, Professor, Theatre and Dance; Jay Curley, Associate Professor, Art History; Lucy Alford, Assistant Professor, English; Francisco Gallegos, Assistant Professor, Philosophy; and Nikki Moore, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Global Arts.
Contact Dean Franco, HI Director with questions at francodj@wfu.edu.
