Judaism 202 -April 2019

Judaism 202 -April 2019

Judaism 202 at WFU
This is an on-going Lunch and Learn series, which meets weekly on Thursdays from 12:30pm to 1:30 pm in Benson 301, We explore, share, compare, and discuss various aspects of Judaism. These sessions are open to the ENTIRE WFU and W-S communities. Bring your curiosity. Bring your friends. Bring your lunch.
This informal educational series is facilitated by Gail Bretan, PhD, Director of Jewish Life at WFU, along with various WFU faculty, staff, alumni, students, and Winston-Salem Jewish community members who will bring their expertise on the topic of the day.
These educational sessions are respectful and accepting of all our traditions - Jewish and non-Jewish. They are not political forums. They are often fun, and always thoughtful. Each session is self-contained, and no experience or knowledge about Judaism is required to join us.
There is always a handout given at each session with an overview and links to other information about the subject. At the end of each session is a question and answer period.
For more information or to suggest a topic, please contact Gail at or (336) 758-4056
