DESCRIPTION:Janey Thompson was a second-year student at Wake Forest who pas
 sed away unexpectedly in April 2024. To honor her\, we created the Jam for
  Janey 3v3 basketball tournament. Janey was a biophysics major and a proud
  member of the Physics Honors Society. Outside of academics\, Janey was a 
 passionate and valued member of the Women’s Club Basketball Team\, a mem
 ber of Wake Radio\, and a Delta Delta Delta sister. This initiative provid
 es funds for the Janey Thompson Scholarship that supports students with a 
 passion for physics. We are grateful for contributions toward the scholars
 hip\, ensuring her legacy endures forever.
