Inclusive Leadership Summit: Building a Culture of Belonging

As part of the Spring 2025 Leadership Summit Series, this summit offers student leaders the opportunity to connect, learn, and lead with purpose. Focused on diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and bias, this interactive experience will equip participants with the knowledge and tools to foster inclusive leadership across campus.

Who Can Attend?
Open to all student leaders—no prerequisites required! However, RSVP registration is required.

Earn Credit Toward the RIDE Certificate
This summit fulfills two workshops (1 & 3) of the RIDE Certificate Series and counts toward the Student Org Workshop Series (RIDE Category).

Workshop 1: Foundations of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

• Define and differentiate diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Explore the impact of DEI in higher education and on campus culture
• Develop and articulate your personal commitment to DEI

Workshop 3: From Unconscious Bias to Conscious Inclusion

• Recognize and address hidden biases that shape decisions and interactions
• Understand how bias contributes to inequities and hinders inclusive environments
• Learn actionable strategies to promote conscious inclusion in leadership and decision-making
