Approaches to Cross-Cultural Conflict is the second workshop in the iLab Series. If you have ever had an unpleasant conflict that you wish could have been handled more effectively, or hesitated to have a conversation about diversity because you feared it would not have a positive outcome, this class is for you! In this session you will,

Explore differences in conflict styles through theory and practice

Use the Intercultural Conflict Style (ICS) Assessment to identify preferred conflict styles

Engage in exercises that teach a range of conflict styles based on cultural norms for various identity-groups

Practice strategies for having more effective dialogue across style differences
