iLab (formerly GateKeepers) is an inclusion learning lab that offers interactive workshops and online resources designed to support faculty, staff, and students in increasing their cultural awareness and interpersonal effectiveness. The initiative, led by ODI’s Diversity Education team, supports the University’s mission by fostering intersectional awareness and understanding, and empowering all members of the Wake Forest community to become more inclusive.
Participants in iLab 101 includes an interactive curriculum that:

Utilizes diversity model to emphasize the meaning of identity, diversity, inclusion, and engagement
Demonstrates how Culture impacts our behaviors, values, filters, perception, and communication styles
Challenges participants to recognize that Intent Impact
Offers 8 Tools to enhance cross-cultural interaction
