How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel
directed by Brook Davis

Paula Vogel's brilliant, compassionate, and harrowing memory play follows Li'l Bit as she reveals her complicated relationship with her Uncle Peck, a man who is simultaneously abuser and savior. This darkly comic, heartbreaking play challenges its audience to wrestle with the dangerous intersections of years of trauma in a complicit world, and the strength of forgiveness.
This play deals frankly with issues of childhood sexual abuse and is not intended for children. We encourage all patrons to use their own discretion.
