THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
In continuing a strong partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, Wake Forest University is once again sponsoring the construction of a Habitat home here in Winston-Salem. This project presents a wonderful opportunity to unite the Wake Forest community and to put to action our motto of Pro Humanitate.
Throughout the coming months, there will be many opportunities to assist in the construction. Starting on August 23rd, build days will occur every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through the end of November. Any volunteer shifts that occur during work hours must be approved by a supervisor.
Individuals can register to volunteer by following these instructions:
Please follow this link to sign up for volunteer slots on Volunteer Hub: habitatforsyth.volunteerhub.com
At that website, click "Register" at the bottom right. Create a User ID and Password (please use your WFU email) and click "Next."
On the next screen, you may be prompted to provide a Join Code. In that box, type (in all CAPS) WFU and then click "Next."
Following the online prompts, complete the User Details form. By completing that form, you are agreeing to the Waiver.
To read the waiver, click on the red link. Do not "x-out" – use your back arrow after reading the waiver.
The next page will be a listing of the events. Scroll to your desired date and click on "Build with us!"
The link will direct you to a new page. Hit the "SIGN UP" button on the left side.
For group registrations or other questions, please contact Sydney Feinglass, Fellow in the Office of the President, at feinsa13@wfu.edu.
