Applauded for her "wonderfully rich," "powerful," and "captivating" voice, American singer LaToya Lain, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, is an Associate Professor of Voice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well a member of the Metropolitan Opera Extra Chorus.
Dr. Lain will present a guest recital, "Narrative of a Slave Woman: Songs of Hope, Justice, and Freedom," with Anna McRay, piano.
