#wfumusicJoin Dr. J. Aaron Hardwick, WFU Music faculty and the director of the WFU Symphony Orchestra for a unique exploration of Video Game Music (VGM) and live performance.
Dr. Hardwick, recently returned from a groundbreaking concert with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester (Munich Radio Orchestra) in a performance of “Let’s Play,” a concert dedicated to VGM, will speak on confronting biases around VGM and the gaming industry. He will also speak to the relationship of music and the gaming industry and the performance of Video Game Music by national and global symphony orchestras.
Registration is not required.
Join us in April for We Play Together, a three day event welcoming special guests including retired NASA astronaut Dan Tani, and EMMY award-winning and three-time BAFTA-nominated composer Inon Zur to Brendle Recital Hall in Scales Fine Arts Center.
