14 Black Classicists: A photographic portrait series featuring Black scholars, teachers, and leaders in the field of Classics whose forgotten histories have been recovered by the archival research of Professor Michele Valerie Ronnick. Also featuring a new, painted portrait by local artist Leo Rucker, to be unveiled during the reception. The subject of this portrait is Helen Maria Chestnutt.
