Directed by Alyssa Cheng (’26) Experience an emotional roller-coaster journey with Duncan Macmillan's acclaimed play, Every Brilliant Thing. This profoundly moving and surprisingly funny solo show, performed by Vir Gupta (’25), explores the lengths we go to for those we love, and the power of finding joy in the everyday and in the little things.

When a young boy's mother attempts suicide, he begins a list of everything that's brilliant about the world – everything worth living for. As he grows, so does the list, becoming a lifeline and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

Through interactive storytelling and a deeply personal narrative, Every Brilliant Thing invites the audience to participate in creating a shared experience of hope and healing. Prepare to laugh, cry, and leave with a renewed appreciation for the extraordinary in the ordinary of our lives.
