The Sabin Center for Environment and Sustainability is proud to announce that Pulitzer Prize-winning author Elizabeth Kolbert will be on campus, October 10, to deliver a keynote address and offer a book signing. This event is free and open to the public.

Required registration is now open! Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear from one of the most prominent voices on the critical environmental issues of our time.

Ms. Kolbert's visit is part of the Sabin Center's conference, Advancing Stewardship: Innovative Approaches for a Thriving Planet, held in collaboration with the School of Business, the Office of Personal and Career Development, and Truist. This conference, October 9-11, will bring together leaders in environmental stewardship from government, academia, NGOs, and the private sector to discuss the most compelling work happening today.

In addition to Ms. Kolbert's keynote and the October 10 panel discussions, students will have the opportunity to attend the Truist Future Forward Challenge kickoff on October 11, which will feature a panel on circular economy, networking opportunities with corporate partners, and information about a short course on circular economies that will be offered in Spring 2025.

Registration is required. For more information, please visit our event website.
