DESCRIPTION:D.E.A.C. (Developing Empowering and Affirming Communities) Alli
 es is a workshop series designed to build participants' knowledge and skill
 s through a scaffolded learning approach. Workshops are designed to deepen 
 knowledge around topics of sexual orientation and gender\, and to equip par
 ticipants with skills for building intentionally inclusive communities that
  welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.\n\nSkill 
 Development and Practice is the third workshop in the core trio and is prim
 arily focused on providing space for D.E.A.C. Allies participants to put th
 eir knowledge into practice. This highly interactive workshop will include 
 opportunities for reflection\, dialogue\, practice\, and more. \n\nThe core
  trio of D.E.A.C. Allies workshops (LGBTQ+ 101\, The Gender Binary and Beyo
 nd\, and Skill Development + Practice) build upon one another\; however\, t
 here is no requirement to take each of the workshops or to take them in ord
 er. If you are new to conversations about gender identity and sexual orient
 ation\, we recommend starting with LGBTQ+ 101. If you have questions about
