The second floor Johnson girls and the first floor Babcock girls are invited to take a walk down to Reynolda Village and explore the culture and history of Winston-Salem and the Reynolda family. Residents will meet in the Babcock lobby at 2:30 to walk down the trail to Dough Joes for free donuts. We will then walk to the Reynolda Museum to explore the "Still I Rise" exhibit that "examines the lives of the Black women and men who helped shape Reynolda as it evolved from a Jim Crow era working estate into a museum for American art. " After visiting the exhibit, residents will be lead by RAs in a reflection on their experience with the exhibit and thoughts on how to fight systemic oppression on and off campus.
