THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
A.S.I.A.'s Harvest Moon Festival is an Asian cultural event that celebrates China's Mid-Autumn Festival, Japan's Tsukimi, Korea's Chuseok, and Vietnam's Tết Trung Thu.
These four holidays are celebrated across mid-September or early October depending on the lunar calendar. During this holiday, people across Asia visit and reunite with friends and relatives to enjoy food and festivities together.
Due the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual festival will be doing Grab ‘n Go Goodie Bags from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm followed by a live Zoom session from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm, which will feature performances, craft tutorials, and a tea brewing demonstration.
This event aims to showcase authentic Asian cultural influence and promote diversity across the Wake Forest campus. A.S.I.A. would like to provide all Asian students with the opportunity to celebrate this holiday together and introduce Asian culture to the rest of our community.
