Join us for a tree planting ceremony at South Residence Hall, help wrangle the English Ivy in the surrounding areas, and celebrate the end of Earth Month with a cookout! This longstanding tradition, formerly known as Campus Beautification Day, brings students, faculty, and staff together to honor and celebrate our campus trees and the services they provide. It’s also a chance to look back at Earth Month and celebrate the blossoming of spring together.

Sign up to participate here! Groups with the highest participation at the event will be recognized at the cookout, where we'll enjoy grass-fed beef and veggie sliders, ice cream, and more. In addition, the first 100 participants to register will receive a signature Office of Sustainability t-shirt, sustainably sourced (and super soft!) from Recover Brands. 

This event will take place on National Arbor Day, April 26, 2024 from 3:00 - 5:00pm. It is co-organized by The Office of Sustainability, Residence Life & Housing, and Facilities & Campus Services Landscaping Team.
