Monday, March 24, 2025 1pm to 4pm
About this Event
2120 Eure Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27109
The effects of climate change, environmental pollution, and biodiversity loss are among the most urgent challenges of our time. Wake Forest’s Environment & Sustainability initiative is dedicated to addressing these global crises by advancing research, education, and action on sustainability, climate adaptation, and environmental justice. A key focus will be on the disproportionate impact of environmental changes on disenfranchised communities and the role of academia in fostering solutions for a more sustainable and equitable future.
As part of the Strategic Framework Visioning Process, this session will engage faculty and staff in shaping an ambitious vision for the future of Environment & Sustainability at Wake Forest. Your insights will help position the University as a global leader in understanding human-driven environmental change and developing innovative solutions to support planetary and human health.
Join us on Monday, March 24, for a facilitated discussion followed by an open drop-in session. Your participation is critical in defining how Wake Forest will lead in this essential field.
📅 Date: Monday, March 24, 2025
