A Short & Happy Guide to Judicial Clerkships

A SHORT & HAPPY GUIDE TO JUDICIAL CLERKSHIPS:
A talk by Professor Tessa Dysart

Professor Tessa Dysart of the University of Arizona will speak on clerkships. Prof. Dysart is the author of the brand new guide A Short & Happy Guide to Judicial Clerkships.

Prof. Dysart’s book is based on the premise that every student should clerk and there is a clerkship out there for every student. However, navigating the clerkship process can be difficult for most students, especially first-generation students. Prof. Dysart, capitalizing on nearly two decades of working with judges, tries to demystify the clerkship process in her guide by answering important questions like: What is a clerkship? Why should one clerk? Where should one clerk? How do you research judges? And how do you build an effective application package?
