The Department for the Study of Religion's Yeazel Speaker presents Shaun Casey: "The Future of Religion in American Diplomacy" Shaun Casey was Special Representative for Religion and Global Affairs at the US Department of State and Director of the Office of Religion and Global Affairs from 2013-2017. He has taught at Harvard Divinity School, Wesley Theological Seminary, and the Walsh School of Foreign Service and directed the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University. His latest book, Chasing the Devil at Foggy Bottom: The Future of Religion in American Diplomacy, was published in January 2023. Lecture is Tuesday, February 20th from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the ZSR Auditorium, with a reception to follow.
