Our "susty" student gurus will be your resident experts as you chat about topics like first-year sustainability leadership (SLG '30), the Campus Garden, our Sustainability Ambassadors program, outdoor recreation, civic engagement, food and dining, waste reduction, career prep, and more.

Please pre-register so we can ensure that we have enough food. All students are welcome regardless of prior sustainability experience.

In the early 1880's, ten students were selected as orators; all others wrote a thesis. In 1899, the number of speakers was reduced to eight; in 1909, to six; and in 1924, to four. In 1973, the Dean of the College reduced the number to three speakers.

At the Colloquium, 10 students will be narrowed down to 3 and top winner. The top three finalists will be recognized at Founders Day in February and the Honors and Awards Ceremony in May, and the top orator will also present their oration at both events.
