Getting to know Alex, as he taught some of my drawing classes, has been wonderful. His work is very thoroughly contemplated, and it's been awesome getting to see the mind and drive behind such interesting forms.
Interesting work of art, I just wish I there was a guide to teach me the importance of them.

The event was great! McGinley's talk was exceptionally well researched, clearly delivered, and full of promise--this is going to be an important book. I'm grateful to my colleagues for bringing her to Wake Forest. My only regret is that more people did not attend.
