Winston-Salem Open

Tennis Served Southern Style
The Winston-Salem Open at Wake Forest University moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2011. An ATP World Tour 250 event, the Winston-Salem Open is the last men’s tournament on the Emirates Airline US Open Series prior to the US Open. Held at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex, a newly designed, state-of-the-art tennis facility, it shares the grounds with Wake Forest Athletics.

 

 

Tournament level: ATP World Tour 250 Event

Dates: Main Draw: August 20-26, 2017; Qualifying: August 19, 2017.

Site: Wake Forest Tennis Complex, 100 West 32nd Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27105

Singles main draw: 48-player draw with four players coming from qualifying

Doubles main draw: 16-team draw

Qualifying draw: 16-player singles draw

Prize Money: $720,940

US Open Series: Final tournament in nine-tournament series leading up the US Open. 2017 will be the 14th year of the Series.
