Video Conferencing 101: An Introduction to WebEx

Have you ever needed to meet with someone across campus, but you didn't quite have enough time to get there and back before your next meeting? Or are you traveling out of town, but still want to be able to hold class? Or would you like to interview an out-of-town candidate for an open position and spare travel expenses? Or would you like to wow your students by bringing in a guest speaker from the west coast, or abroad?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you must come to this class! At Wake Forest University, students, faculty, and staff members have access to schedule and host WebEx meetings. This means you can meet and collaborate online, synchronously, anywhere you have a computer or mobile device and an internet connection!

In this session, learners will be introduced to the four WebEx centers, with a strong focus on Meeting Center.
