THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
Student Union, in partnership with the Women’s Center, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, WFU Thrive, the Resident Student Association, and the Student Activities Fee, is excited to welcome Hoda Kotb, the Emmy award-winning co-host of the fourth hour of the TODAY Show, as a keynote speaker of the spring semester. Sharing her own life experiences, from the arduous task of finding her first job to overcoming breast cancer and a divorce, Ms. Kotb will be blending serious topics about community and individual well-being with her trademark sense of humor in her self-titled talk, Winning in the Face of Adversity.
The talk is taking place on Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. in Wait Chapel.
The lecture is FREE to students, faculty, and staff. Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
