Introductory Mentoring Skills: Build Your Mentoring Network
We all need mentors for various aspects of our lives. But, how do you find people to step into these mentor roles? In this workshop for undergraduate juniors and seniors, we will discuss where/how to seek out mentors, how to ask someone to be your mentor, and how to show up and engage in mentoring relationships. Additionally, you will gain knowledge as a student organization leader on how to effectively serve as a connector for your peers to potential mentors. Participants will leave with an action plan for creating effective mentoring relationships and expanding their networks.
This workshop is part two in a series of three workshops being offered in Spring 2018. Participants who attend two out of the three workshops (you must attend the full sessions) will receive an Introductory Mentoring Skills Certificate from the Mentoring Resource Center.
