THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
Wake Forest University hosts STEM at Wake Laboratory Tours as part of the statewide North Carolina Science Festival. STEM at Wake provides high school students the opportunity to participate in six 20-minute collegiate laboratory sessions in physics, chemistry, biology, health and exercise science, mathematics, computer science, and regenerative medicine.
This event, now in its third year, is held in conjunction with the larger statewide North Carolina Science Festival, in an effort to expose students to STEM teaching and research in a setting with world-class faculty and researchers, which might inspire these students in mathematics, science, and technology, and encourage them to pursue these subjects in their own collegiate experience and professional careers.
On Thursday, April 23, 2015 Wake Forest University will host students who have been admitted to Wake Forest for Fall 2015.
STEM at Wake is organized by the Pro Humanitate Institute at Wake Forest University in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and the various STEM departments of Wake Forest College.
